SBCRA committee members at the park opening

After many years of negotiation and consultation Mindarie Park has opened. In no small measure this is due to work your committee has put in pointing out the need for open space in the rapid developing Mowbray Precinct

The first stage of the park on the corner of Mindarie and Kullah Pde has been opened

It consists a Children’s Playground  and was opened on 23 February by our State Member Anthony Roberts

This new inclusive playspace aligns with the Everyone Can Play in NSW guidelines to cater for all people, including disabled and able-bodied children and their Carers.

The fenced playspace includes a range of swings, natural-looking play materials and equipment that is suitable for people of all abilities to enjoy. Also on-site are new BBQ facilities, toilets and Seniors fitness equipment.
